Urban First Aid & Emergency Care Courses

We offer a variety of first aid courses including courses customised for various groups including scout & guide leaders, parents & helpers, teachers, outdoor enthusiasts and different commercial environments.

All of our courses are designed in compliance with the 2015 ILCOR guidelines. Some courses are self certified, other certified by external bodies including The Emergency Care & Safety Institute or Wilderness Medical Associates International.

It is also a great starting point for volunteers who are responsible for the care of others.

Anyone who is responsible for the care of children.First Aid for parents and helpers a great starting point for anyone who is responsible for the care of children.
Layperson CPR & AED1/2 DayLaypeople.Based on the 2015 ILCOR guidelines for CPR & ECC, this course provides certification in CPR, AED and Oxygen administration.
Healthcare Provider CPR & AED (BLS)1 DayMedical professionals, volunteers, sports coaches.Based on the 2015 ILCOR guidelines for CPR & ECC, this course provides certification in Basic Life Support for healthcare professionals.
Advanced First Aid4 days or
10 Evenings
Medical professionals, teachers, volunteers, sports coaches.This program aims to provide additional specialist-level modules for First Aiders to increase their competency level. On top of the standard first aid curriculum, participants will be taught to utilize advanced equipment such as airway adjuncts, Bag-Valve Mask (BVM), Oxygen Therapy and Kendrick Extrication Device (KED). The training also include a module on Triage (the process of determining the priority of patients' treatments based on the severity of their condition).
Emergency Medical Responder10 DaysMedical professionals, teachers, volunteers, sports coaches.This program builds on the AFA to provide additional training and experience for those who will deliver care in a professional capacity.
